BELL, GWYNNETH JOSLYN Sept. 13, 1948 to July 11, 2012 Gwynne was born in San Francisco and was the second child to Bill and Barbara Joslyn. She lost her year-and-a-half courageous battle with cancer. Her two sons, Rob Bell and his wife Lisa, with Mike Bell and his fiancé, Larissa, survive her. Her brother, Bill, sister, Beth, and their respective spouses, Harriet and Sam, loved her dearly and will miss her. Many nieces and nephews will lovingly remember Gwynne. She was also a loyal, treasured friend to many wonderful people throughout her life. Gwynne graduated from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA, in 1970 and became an English teacher for many years. She became interested in Special Education in recent years and worked as an Advocate for students with special needs. Most recently, she worked in the Special Education Dept. in the Rancho Santa Fe School District, where she was loved by both students and staff. A private memorial service and interment will be held on August 25th at El Camino Memorial in Sorrento Valley. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to San Diego Hospice Foundation at 4311 Third Avenue, San Diego, CA 92103. Her family also wishes to thank "A Circle of Care" for their loving care during her last months of life.
